Review:

Amongst the 5 stars hotel in this region, Fairmont hotel share the best location with swiss hotel the Stamford. The hotel is located right above a huge shopping mall called Raffles city shopping center. Also right below the shopping center is the City hall MRT station. This is the main interchange of the subway system in Singapore. What this means is easy accessibility to all other parts of Singapore wight at your door steps.

Expect fantastic views of the City and the Marina bay from your hotel rooms. The views are even more spectacular on the higher floors executive rooms like the one that I stayed in. The rooms are typical five stars standard but nothing to rave about. The bath accessories are average in quality.

The daily breakfast is great. Being a Singaporean, I was surprised that the hotel chef could come up with great tasting local delights like Nasi Lemak and congee for breakfast.

The next great thing about the hotel is the Spa. Although it is a tad expensive, but certainly worth the money. The hotel has a great pool and 6 tennis courts although being an “unsporty” person, I didn’t use any of these facilities.

Overall, this is a great place to stay mainly for it’s extremely good location at a fair price.
