The second tranche of MCB by SIngapore Airlines to raised $6.2b is undersubscribed at just about 60% of the total allocation taken up.
This means that Temasek is taking up the remaining $2.44b worth of rights. The stocks of SIA remains fairly muted at about $5 a share for most of this month.
A big component on the survival of SIA is the opening of the travel internationally and by the Singapore government.
