PAN PACIFIC HOTEL SINGAPORE (Marina Bay)

I seldom bother to write reviews for any of the previous hotels I’ve stayed in. Pan pacific however impressed me so much I feel compelled to do so.
I’ve booked a standard room on my wedding day. I was a little apprehensive about the service at first because my wedding banquet was not held at the Pan Pacific hotel itself, but at the Singapore flyer. However, Pan pacific Singapore proved me wrong. First they impressed me 1 week before the check in date by sending me an email asking me for my estimated time of arrival and for any guest preference. When I arrived, there were 2 other wedding couples present who had their banquet held at the hotel itself, but the staff in hotel made us feel just as welcomed and important as the other wedding couple.
Check in was a breeze, I didn’t even have to queue at the counter, everything was done at the comfort of the sitting area. There is also someone to make sure we were comfortable from the time we walked in till we reached our room.
Seeing that it was our wedding day, the hotel upgraded my room to one with a balcony and saying the view was fantastic was an understatement.
Something to note though is that there is no access from the underground carpark to the hotel after 11pm. So don’t bother driving into the carpark like we did, the valet at the hotel lobby can easily settle your car for you.
The room was good but I particularly liked the bathroom which was really spacious and comes with really thick fluffy bath towels. The same hospitality was extended to us on our checkout and overall I probably spent less than 10 minutes on both the check in and checkout combined.
The service at Pan Pacific Singapore even beats the service of Amari watergate hotel in Bangkok and they certainly deserve the top spot in tripadvisor website. Well done Pan pacific.
